The rules of the road.

By creating an account or using ExpenseFlow ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that company.

If you don't agree, don't use the Service. We won't take it personally.

You need a valid email to sign up. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password safe. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access — we'll help you lock it down.

• One person per personal account. Don't share logins.
• For team workspaces, invite each teammate as a separate member — that's what RBAC is for.
• You must be at least 16 (or the digital-consent age in your country) to use the Service.

Use ExpenseFlow for tracking expenses and running approvals. Don't use it to:

• Break any law, including financial-record fraud or money laundering.
• Upload malware, scrape the app, or attempt to bypass rate limits or auth.
• Resell access, white-label the product, or build a competing service on top of it without a written agreement.
• Submit content that infringes someone else's rights or violates their privacy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For serious abuse, we may also report to the relevant authorities.

ExpenseFlow has a free tier. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually depending on your selection, via our payment processor.

• No auto-renew traps. You can cancel any time from your settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds. If something's wrong, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll usually refund pro-rata — we'd rather give the money back than fight about it.
• Taxes. Prices exclude VAT/GST where applicable; we'll show them at checkout.
• Price changes. We'll give 30 days' notice by email before any increase on existing plans.

You keep ownership of everything you put into ExpenseFlow — your expenses, receipts, categories, comments. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service.

We keep ownership of the Service itself — the code, the UI, the brand. The "ExpenseFlow" name and logo are ours; please don't use them to imply endorsement without asking first.

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service. Where reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the issue first.

On termination you can export your data for 30 days; after that it's deleted per our Privacy Policy.

ExpenseFlow is provided "as is". The free tools (tax, salary, EMI, invoice generator) are for directional reference only — they don't constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Numbers intentionally simplify state/provincial layers, surcharges, and credits. Use a professional for filing.

We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpenseFlow's liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't legally be excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Kathmandu — unless local consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms occasionally. If the change is material, we'll email you and give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect.
